Bidra med feedbackAlways get the meatballs. Great choice. Went for appetizers, drinks and dessert. Service was great, appetizers were to the table within 5 minutes of ordering. Drink and desserts were delicious, though the price point seemed a bit excessive for what was served. All around, lovely experience.
Bar Tulia Mercato is hands down the best restaurant in Mercato, and probably in North Naples. They have a fantastic dinner and brunch menu. The cuisine is heavily Mediterranean, but with a wide variety of items to suit any mood. All of the food is prepared fresh and probably even from scratch the pasta definitely is. I come here at least once a week, which has given me the opportunity to try a lot of the menu, and I have not been disappointed in a single dish. Side note: the Garganelli pasta is my personal favorite, especially when paired with a Dr. Feelgood. Not only is the food great, it?s a great place to go. The atmosphere is elevated and service is similar to what you would expect from fine dining, but the experience is completely unpretentious. Formal dinner, casual night out, happy hour with friends it?s a great place for any occasion. The service is quick and the servers are incredibly friendly. Every server so far has thorough knowledge of the menu and has not been afraid to give honest opinions. The one thing to be very aware of: reservations are strongly encouraged because wait times during prime time can exceed an hour.
The sister of Tulia Osteria and Bar Tulia in downtown Naples, Bar Tulia Mercato is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. The restaurant and menu are rustic but the dishes are incredibly refined. Nothing beats the house made pastas and each is worth trying.
As a fan of Osteria Tulia downtown, I knew I had to try Bar Tulia. I was pleasantly surprised to see there were differences between the two menus. The Garganelli was delicious?and the truffle was subtle enough that anyone could enjoy it. I started with the beef carpaccio, which was amazing. It was thin slices of raw beef on a plate covered with delicious toppings. Though unorthodox (with what I?ve had), I?m happy to say it?s one of the best I?ve had. The tiramisu was delicious. I?d skip the banana split. Good ambiance outdoors, and lively even at 10pm.
We visited Bar Tulia several weeks ago and had a few hiccups with our meal?. I have to say, that without hesitation the general manager Cecilia immediately reached out to me and addressed the situation along with manager Bart?. We were invited back and had an amazing experience! The server, Monica was absolutely spot on and as professional as one can be?. Complete attention to detail, the drinks were made too perfection, along with the service and meal preparation. Let me start by saying, mistakes are made everyday, but it?s the come back and response that is most important. Bar Tulia has the right people in place and one of the most professional staffs?. Cecilia is one of the most attentive managers, who takes pride in her position and her establishment. She strives for perfection and has the leadership with her staff to achieve that goal. She took the time to address some short comings and rectified that error with such precious. We had an amazing dinner and couldn?t be happier? there are many places to eat in Naples and with a wide variety of food and atmosphere, Bar Tulia not only exceeds its reputation in food, but exceeds all expectations in service, atmosphere and customer service.
