Tacos Tequila Cantina - Naples

My review is based solely on the recent experience of my guest and myself. The customer service should have led me to post a 2-star review, but the food was good enough to bump this to 3 stars. It was moderately busy when we arrived. There were about 10 people ahead of us waiting for tables. We were told it would be about 20 minutes to get seated and they 'd send us a text when a table was available. We waited outside (no room at the bar) and after 25 minutes I asked the hostess where we were on the wait list. I 've sent you 2 messages, she said. I showed her my phone: no messages. Oh, she must have entered your number wrong. We were led to a table, where we sat for 10 minutes without any waiter appearing to take a drink order, give us menus, etc. We finally asked a waiter if he could find out who was assigned to our table. Long story short: It never got better after that. The customer service from start to finish was lousy. We didn 't even bother complaining when our lackadaisical waiter brought out our food that had already cooled down. By that time we had checked out. Pro tip: Don 't go when they 're busy. If there was one single thing that would make me recommend this place, I 'd mention it here. If all your looking for is Mexican food of decent quality, this place will do, I guess.

Great little neighborhood Mexican restaurant. I had the beef enchiladas with red sauce, not too spicy, the filling was seasoned perfectly. It's served with rice and refried beans. Finished off the meal with fried ice cream which was perfect...not greasy at all, crispy outside and the ice cream wasn't all melty inside...just the right amount of cinnamon and drizzled with chocolate sauce AND caramel sauce...delicious! Will definitely be back. One odd thing that didn't affect me but the people I was with were rather disappointed with...they don't have coffee...I've never been to a restaurant, Mexican or otherwise, that didn't serve coffee...but they get 5 stars anyway because I don't drink coffee

Love this place. Great food and service. Check it out.
