Hob Nob - Naples

The Sea Base was very good. We also had the Fish Chips, which were very basic, and extremely overpriced... This Fish Chips meal was definitely not worth $34 for one small piece of fish and a little bit of fries... very disappointing

We were a party of 9 people, being 4 adults and 5 kids. Everyone enjoyed their food and the servers were very friendly and attentive, so I would rate both 5 stars. The only reason I gave 4 starts for the atmosphere was because we sat in the very back of the restaurant, with no much to see or enjoy in that sense. They also have a kids menu. Some of the options that I recall were: cheese pizza, chicken fingers, steak frites. They also offer the paper menu with crayons for the kids.

It was a wonderful night filled with great food and wine. We enjoyed our dinner, so much we stuck around for a few drinks afterwards at the bar. I want to specifically mention our fantastic waiter, Mika. He was not only entertaining, he was very knowledgeable about the menu. Additionally, Colin, the manager, was a wealth of wine knowledge at the bar following dinner. We will absolutely be back soon.

We visited during our honeymoon on New Year's Eve night. The menu online was there usual fare, and we had no indication until we were seated that we would be locked into a NYE menu. Nobody told us what the NYE special cost, so we were very surprised when the bill ended up being $150/person. This was disappointing.

We went on New Year's Eve. Always a dicey proposition. They had a fixed menu. Ordered the caprese salad, tomato's not good. I had the filet, sauce too salty. Husband had the lamb chops which were tasteless. Cheese cake was dry. Service was the only highlight.
