Barbatella - Naples

Very creative menu with excellent homemade pasta, authentic Napoli pizza, and if of course Gelato! The waiting staff was very attentive. Overall a very pleasant culinary experience.

This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Barbatella and at the end of our Mother's Day lunch, my wife exclaimed that Barbatella is her favorite restaurant!! We had the special luncheon menu with Mimosas to start followed by Baked Eggplant “Melanzane” for me (DELICIOUS! and the Grilled Peaches, Roasted Beets and Goat Cheese salad for her. She loved it! We both enjoyed a perfectly cooked beef tenderloin (and I do mine sous vide at home so I know a great steak . A glass of a Super Tuscan was a great pairing. For dessert we enjoyed the Roasted Pear Tarte with Vinsanto Caramel and Vanilla Gelato and a coffee. We will be back later this month for dinner and Jimmy Keys. Had reservations and got there a bit early. They sat us right down on an outside table by the street. Apps were delicious, main coarse was even better. Ambiance was great, our server did a great job. Deserts were out of the world. Great night! Jee up the god service!
