Santarosa Trattoria Artigianale

New restaurant that had very tasty dishes and excellent service. Portions were a little small, but quality was great, so it is a nice restaurant experience.

One of the best meals I had in Naples in many years. Was here for lunch on a whim while exploring Vomero. Both the chef and the server (manager spoke excellent English and offered to translate the short menu. Very professional service and not overly friendly which was refreshing. The menu is fish-focused, short and fairly priced. Fried anchovies as a starter. Fried to perfection and served with lemon. No fussiness. The Baccalà was FANTASTIC. Had been to the BaccalàRe festival the night before (dedicated solely to this wonderful fish) and eaten versions over the years...but this was the best. A huge portion of Baccalà with cherry tomatoes, capers and olives. Served with good white bread. It was almost too much to finish, but so delicious...I had to!

An excellent find in Vomero, run by Enzo and Elena. Perfectly cooked Italian dishes, attentive, friendly service, a small, but perfectly formed menu, and a fantastic wine list to accompany. Our new favourite restaurant in Napoli. Booked via Quandoo on Google maps. Suggest you check them out. We'll definitely be visiting again.
