We were so disappointed with our recent dining experience here after visited many times while in town. We were in a separate room which was fine as we had kids but also meant we were forgotten at times. Never offered the daily specials and ended up walking through to the main dining area to take a photo on our phone. The beef Wellington (priced at $47) was an absolute disaster. Sited on the menu board served medium rare it was about half an hour over. Well done with no pink to be seen. It’s strange as the pastry was soggy, I’ve had crispier pastry on a service station pie. We were never meal checked or checked in at all during our meal so I saved some to show the waiter. Sorry was the reply. And that was it. The scotch steak was a shocker. Very chewy and full of fat. The fries were watery in texture. Not fluffy and crispy. The whole experience was a let down and we will not be back.
