Totopos Mexican - Naperville

We really enjoyed the vegan tacos at this restaurant. We liked the chorizo over the ground beef, but both were delicious. The torta was also exceptional. The salsas we tried, hot and extra hot, were unique and tasty. The only thing we wouldn't order again was the tamales, as they lacked filling despite tasting good.

I recently visited this restaurant for the second time. I ordered a soy meat taco with onion and cilantro, but my son ended up eating it before I could try it myself! I also had the roasted pepper and soy meat tamale, which was absolutely delicious. They had all four vegan flavors in stock that day, and I wish I had ordered more. The chickpea salad tostada was one of the most flavorful dishes I have ever eaten, with toppings piled high including cilantro, guacamole, pico de gallo, jicama, and chickpeas. The guacamole was tasty, but chips were extra. I also tried the grilled veggie burrito with vegan rice and refried beans, which was good but I would skip it next time in favor of more tostadas and tamales to heat up later. There is currently no indoor seating at the restaurant, so I ordered my food and ate in the parking lot. The staff was very knowledgeable about vegan options, making it easy to order. I made sure to request no cheese or sour cream and confirmed that everything was vegan. It felt like someone's grandmother was cooking for me, with everything prepared in plain view. I highly recommend this place, despite the lack of seating and need to wait a bit. Just a heads up, there is no restroom for customers but there are plenty of nearby shops to use if needed. I love this place!

I tried the soy chorizo tacos and they were delicious, so I went back for more. I am excited to try their tamales and other menu items. I am thrilled to have discovered this restaurant and this app!

WOW! Even though this restaurant has minimal seating, I have LOVED getting takeout from this gem for years. The staff is pretty knowledgable about veganism, and the majority of their veggie menu is vegan or can be made vegan. I even had them cater a party for me! I highly recommend the vegan steak tacos with cilantro and onion. Also, it doesn't hurt to call ahead and pick up your food since there are only a few tables inside.

So tasteful and the portions a very filling. Salsas are spot on and full of flavor.Timely with orders.
