Blue Sushi Sake Grill - Naperville

My husband went there last night for date night. It was a cooler night so we got miso soup and sushi. The prices were decent and the sushi was good but not great. The ambiance was nice and the food came out really fast. I would definitely go back for the drinks next time I’m in the area. They have an excellent specialty drinks list.

Made a reservation with a request for a table with low foot traffic. They sat us in the hall by the front desk where there is constant foot traffic. When I went to ask the host they were really stressed so I wasn’t upset but I just wish they listened to our one request. We ended up leaving the table without ordering and going elsewhere. This experience was enough to make me only want to order to-go from now on:

We usually love Blue Sushi! The vegetarian options, bento boxes, and appetizers are very good, but our last delivery order was a little disappointing. I got a super asparagus roll and it came without the cream cheese and eel sauce. The brown rice on our cucumber rolls was also very mushy. We’ll definitely be back, but I’d be a little wary of ordering delivery.

I'm vegan and this was my second time at this grill and I'll definitively come back to I try all the rolls!

Great sushi, vegan rolls are some of the best I have had.
