I've been going to the odéon for several years and have enjoyed the delicious food so far. but tonight I felt that they really rest on their laurels, I ordered 200 grams of gambas at €16, but when the court arrived. there were many small gambas on the teller and the waitress assured me that it was normal, as they were small and that, as the restaurant was closed tomorrow for the celebration, they were getting rid of their stock when I came to pay however, I was calculated for the gambas 29 € (the price for 400 gramm) of the chef claimed that the waitress must have understood absolutely nothing! I have paid the full amount for the peace, but this restaurent has lost some loyal customers.
Very friendly restaurant. Chef comes to the table and presents the meat before he cooks it. the grill/kitchen is located behind a glass panel so that they can see that it cooks the meal to perfection.
And yet... we waited because the owners were only 2 and had not for so many people. We waited 20 minutes before we came to take our order. but we understood that they were overwhelmed and it did not affect their sense of reception. we were 6 and we all loved our dishes!!! Tartar is excellent; The gambas. Home fries! we will return this time by booking and coming earlier to have the time to enjoy :)
Odeon remains an institution when it comes to meat. The room is built around the lumber where the chef can see the roast beef pieces behind the glass. It is also possible to eat a fish skewer or gambas. The prices are in relation to the quality of the meat that the chef always presents on a tray before switching them to the grill. There is no peas and salad accompaniment, only fries remain.Very well for a meal with friends or colleagues.
