Bidra med feedbackWe went here without booking and were very glad we did. It's a small restaurant in the pedestrian area of Nantes, It's cozy inside and if warm there are plenty of outside tables. The choice is limited, so there are 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 puddings and the menu price is fixed for either 2 or 3 courses, for 2 courses it was 23 Euros from what I can remember. The wine was excellent (muscadet and at a good price - there were others to choose from), there was ample free bread on the table as well as olives. Where this place really comes into it's own is the food. good sized portions of excellently cooked and prepared French cuisine, not too big or too small. We started with foie gras, sardine pate and fried camembert which we were all impressed with, this was followed by steak, duck and fish with a cheeseboard to share. Every dish was excellent, beautifully cooked to order and seasoned well. The dauphinoise potatoes were the best I have had in a restaurant and the duck was lovely and tender and a nice pink colour. The waitress spoke English (often rare to find in France and not something we were expecting as we muddled though with our GCSE French) and we had a great experience. It was cozy and packed with a good mix of tourists and locals yet the service was smooth and timely. It is one of the best meals I've had in a long time and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Nantes.
Relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, almost intimate in one of the busiest pedestrian streets of the old nantes. has two steps from the Château d'anne de bretagne original cuisine, French and even a little fusion. Tasty, very well presented. Quick and courteous service.
We stopped in this restaurant or the terrace was empty, because we wanted sardines. No bowl, the sardine is just on the restaurant's name. Finally we stayed and ate well, despite a very short card. The staff is welcoming.

Advised by our friend, we finally go there and without disappointment. The restaurant's patron and waitress is as delicious as the dishes prepared by her husband. 26€ epd 23€ ep or pd in a nice old building. I took frog thighs in parsillad (a first for me), my partner sardine shiny rillettes. everything was really delicious, the rillettes, first time I ate so good, creamy, creamy, far from being so boring as often. Then, chicken pastilla (real pieces of chicken peeling) and duck magret, fine gratin dauphinois, chew in accompaniment. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, it's warm everyone talks, the team is there for something. The boss really wants to know more about our opinion. It's a chichi-free place and that's a great place. I find it a shame to offer vegetarian nothing.
