Roxy's Diner - Nanaimo

Came here for breakfast and couldn't even finish the french toast. Cold, bland and thick, made me sick.

Overall this restaurant is just average. The coffee - after a terrible long wait to get it - was not great. The french toast was mostly without flavor - the eggs/toast/bacon were seriously over priced. I had to ask for water twice and had to ask for coffee refills from a disinterested waitress while sitting at the counter.The place was packed but I overheard many patrons complaining about the portions vs cost.Maybe it's new? Not sure as we were only visiting but I am certain I won't be back. There are just too many other choices that I am sure would provide better service. Funniest thing I saw - the curry restaurant next door delivered a curry bowl to one of the servers! Should have ate next door was our obvious conclusion! ;)

When I want to grab a late night meal on Granville Street, this is my go-to spot. The staff provides real food with excellent service.

After noticing the sign for "$4.00 Monster Wings," I decided to give this restaurant a try. Unfortunately, the wings were quite strange and not enjoyable at all.

The food and drinks were satisfactory.
