Awash Ethiopia - Nairobi

The food was absolutely delicious, but what really stood out were the incredible employees. I ordered for delivery, and I truly hope to visit them in person someday. I couldn't recommend this place more!

I visited Awash several times while in Nairobi, and if you're looking for authentic Ethiopian cuisine at affordable prices, this is a great spot to enjoy the delicious offerings of this kitchen. The veggie mix includes a variety of lentil curries, boran (stewed vegetables), cauliflower, and root vegetables, all served on a large, tangy injera (Ethiopian flatbread). It's a bit messy since you eat with your hands, but that's all part of the fun! You can either order one to share or make your own if you have a big appetite.
