Almost Heaven Bakery Obx - Nags Head

Melinda catered our wedding cake and cupcakes and it was AMAZING. She was so easy to work with and showed up right on time. Everything tasted absolutely delicious we got so many compliments from our wedding guests. I?d recommend them to anyone!

We were down in the Outerbanks for my parents? wedding anniversary. I called Almost Heaven Bakery and asked if they had the availability to whip up an anniversary cake for them in 24 hours. They not only said yes, but produced a beautiful cake that thewhole family was raving about. They were so kind and we highly recommend them for cakes if you?re in the area!

The best cake we've ever tasted!!!! I bought my mom's 65th birthday cake here and asked them to make something pretty, and she loved it!!! I even took home a dozen cookies from their display case and they were perfect too! Thanks everyone for makingmemories, you made me the hero of the party!

We had planned a trip to OBX during our son 's 15th birthday week, and I realized that I had no idea where we could get a cake. I 've always baked fancy cakes for him and, when I 'm low on time, I have a favorite bakery near home in NJ that always delivers.I did some searches about a month before our trip, and Almost Heaven had the best reviews of the bakeries closest to where wewere staying in Nags Head. I ordered a 6 inch chocolate layer cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream, and I said tojust do some simple beachy decorations. I was so impressed when I picked it up such a pretty cake with sugar seashells, andthe owner even threw in a matching candle after I realized I didn 't have any back at the house. My son loved it! The cake was solight and airy with good chocolate flavor, the buttercream creamy and light (not too sweet), and the most amazing raspberryfilling. I can see why they get a lot of wedding orders they do beautiful work, and their cake really does taste heavenly.

We ordered an anniversary cake while on our OBX vacation. Not only was it beautiful, but it was absolutely delicious as well. It was quite a hit!! In addition, Melissa helped us out of a jam. Another family member ordered a wedding cake, from a differentbakery, for her beach wedding. That cake was unfinished and totally unacceptable. I called Almost Heaven bakery for help, andMelissa not only provided helpful information, but I was able to purchase some items from her to try and finish and improve theunacceptable cake.
