Casa Tomas - Nacogdoches

I have fond memories of Casa Tomas from my childhood - it was a special treat and one of the pricier restaurants in the city. I'm happy to see that it's still around! The service and food quality at Casa Tomas have always been hit or miss, possibly depending on the time of year, but that's part of its charm. Some of the best meals and conversations I've had in Nac were at Casa Tomas.

Yesterday, after years of not eating there, I found that the food was still excellent and delicious. The service we received from our waitress was exceptional - one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. She was very friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed it!

Finally! My companion and I had been struggling to find a good restaurant in Nacogdoches. Casa Tomas tastes like a 5-star chef from New York decided to come and cook Mexican food in East Texas. The food has flavor, something I haven't experienced in the city yet. I have spent hundreds on meals that didn't taste half as good. Well done! We will definitely be returning and bringing our friends. Oh, and you must try their strawberry margaritas, they are excellent.

I went to lunch, and the queensadillas were quite authentic. I wish I had the opportunity to have the margaritas, but will definitely see again when I'm in the opposite.

As a former nac townie, I have to say that this is a great place to hang around. we had friends who worked here and I feel like they met someone.
