Mcauley Place Coffee Shop

I was treated to a fabulous afternoon tea here yesterday. The food was delicious, varied and beautifully presented. Great cappuccino.

First time to visit friendly staff full irish breakfast fantastic, next time i am in naas I will return.

This is the most amazing place! It is run mostly by volunteers in support of an active retirement community. The food is wholesome, tasty and amazing value. It's location is in the middle of town however it feels like country garden party. Couldn't recommend this restaurant enough. 5* all the way

The only conversation I had at the restaurant was when I handed over 50€ for a 1.50€ item and was told "You will have to have coins." I was shocked by this rudeness and didn't bother counting the change, just throwing it in my bag. I didn't expect to have to deal with a bunch of coins. There was no one else in the restaurant even though I had just given a 5€ note 3 minutes earlier. It was midday. When I later counted my change, I realized that I would have been better off going to a hotel for dinner instead.

This volunteer run cafe has a lovely quaint atmosphere. Afternoon tea type of place. Lovely delf china teacups and saucers. Lots of art on the walls. Cake, in particular, the scones are definitely the best in town.
