Bidra med feedbackNice food and an several options for everyone, the combos are perfect!
Order the fajita tacos on flour tortilla and those were very good. I would definitely order those again. As far as the sandwiches, I had a Cubano sandwich which the pork loin was a bit dry. A little more mustard would have been nice. Also had another taste of a sandwich I forget the name but it had pulled pork along with pulled beef and it to was dry and could have used a little bit more of the mayonnaise aioli. The salads that accompanied the sandwiches were fresh and crisp along with the homemade cucumber dressing. Overall I would give a rating of a 3.5 out of 5. The driver Edgar had no problem delivering to the house on a good time frame.
Tortas anywhere else don’t compare! They make their own bread in house, and it makes a huge difference. As if that wasn’t enough, their side salad is one of the best salads I have ever had, and this should tell you something because I’m a huge carnivore and do not eat salads. Try La Barda, ma favorite, although I was so hungry last time I asked for La Barda, la cerca, y toda la casa ???
Great food and great place to eat. Food is fresh and staff is friendly!
We were driving by this spot on our way to get deli sandwiches when I decided to look up their menu. The good reviews and the very modest prices convinced us to stop and give them a try.The place is tiny with about 6 inside dining tables and maybe about 2 outside tables. You order at a small counter and can see your food being made.We ordered a Portuguese and the pierna and ternera (pulled pork shredded beef). The pulled pork and beef was phenomenal! Like surprisingly good! The bread is soft and chewy with a perfectly hard crust that is toasted just a tad. The meats inside were full of flavor and the pork rinds added just the right crunch necessary in every perfect sandwich. The Portuguese with Milanesa and black beans was also super tasty although very overshadowed by the previously described sandwich. Both rocked though!Definitely worth a stop or drive if in the mood for some delicious and cheap tortas. $20 will feed 2 people here.
