Bidra med feedbackInterior something really unusual but quite interesting; definitely offering a good justice to its name. Tried Dragon Chicken, Chicken and Mutton Biryani. Taste wise all were good, if not great. Service was slow and inattentive, may be due to the huge crowd. All in all, a good dinner in a new city. Thanks Zomato for the help finding me this restro.
WHAT THEHEEBEE SAYS ABOUT GUFA RESTAURANT, MYSURU<br/ <br/ I visited Gufa restaurant during pre covid period for lunch on one day. It is situated in the premises of beautiful Hotel Pai Vista. <br/ <br/ If variety of 'ambiance ' is what you love, then Gufa Restaurant should be an experience that you should not miss. <br/ <br/ The interiors of restaurant are designed as a dark medieval cave structure. Once you greet the receptionist and step inside, you would feel that you are in a medieval cave. Walls have been given an amazing cave/stone like texture. Lights are dark along with some dim colorful lights here and there. On the walls you would find artificial insects and its very cold inside, just like inside an actual dark cave. <br/ <br/ This is a multi cuisine restaurant with good choices for everyone. To begin with we ordered Chilled beer with Lime Soda along with Starters Peanut Masala and Sprint Rolls. For Main Course we had Kadai Paneer and Butter Roti, Daal Fry and Rice. Food tasted very good with balanced spices and oil levels. We truly enjoyed the food.<br/ <br/ Service is very good. Staff is attentive and caring. Manger is aware of the dishes and can help in selecting dishes suiting your liking. I have one special mention for the staff and I want to extend my gratitude to the staff and the management for this incident my 6 yrs old kid started feeling cold inside the restaurant. We were not having any warm clothes with us. Staff members observed that she was feeling cold and hence she was not comfortable in having food. They proactively helped us in bringing a blanket from the hotel and wrapped it around my kid. We felt very happy with this heart touching gesture of the staff. Kudos to the staff and the management for having such caring staff.<br/ <br/ Signing Off<br/ Hiral Amodia<br/ (TheHeeBee)
Gufha, located in a central Mysuru hotel is most definitely a restaurant set out to provide ambience and a change from the ordinary when you dine. The food is good with clearly marked options for vegetarians and the meat lovers out there. They have a significant range of food with a distinctive style (e.g. regions) and accompaniments to go with them. The only downside to having so many options is the confusion it creates, and I personally feel the menu could easily be rationalised for easier choice selection by the customer. All in all, it is excellent dining, and the credit has to be given to the hardworking staff who are always happy to help.
The entire setup is that of a cave thus the naming if the restaurant , ambience is great, Had a great time .
Since we were staying in the hotel we had an option to order many things.<br/ Ordered fish and chips and chilly paneer. Chilly paneer was okayish fish and chips you can skip it wasn't good at all.<br/ However the maincourse Indian food was quite good we ordered two chicken dishes and rotis and naan. Everything was nice. They are not stingy on quantity for the price which happens mostly in hotel room order.<br/ <br/ The breakfast buffet of the hotel was pretty simple than expected. The deserts were definitly stale. They should have given Indian sweets like mysore pak rather than hard muffins<br/ <br/ All in all stick to the Indian dishes and you'll not be disappointed
