The Grumpy Monk - Myrtle Beach

My first experience at Grumpy Monk was great. The service was good and they had a variety of interesting food options to choose from. We tried a mix of items including wings, poutine, slaw, salad, and a few beers, and everything was delicious. The wings were especially impressive - they were large, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes. Overall, I would rate the food preparation a 7/10, service an 8/10, cleanliness a 9/10, and value a 6/10.

If you're in the mood for wings, this is the place to be! The smoked, baked, and fried wings are all delicious. The happy hour menu during Sunday Football is fantastic, with plenty of TVs and a wide variety of draft beers available. You can't beat it! Make sure to arrive early on Sundays around noon, as it tends to fill up quickly.

Grumpy Monk is one of the top restaurants in Myrtle Beach! During CCU parents weekend, we had an amazing evening there. The craft beers were exceptional with a wide variety to choose from. The food paired perfectly with the drinks. Our server, Donnie, was outstanding. We quickly fell in love with Grumpy Monk and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend checking it out! The food was excellent. The location was close to our new home in Carolina Forest. And our waiter was awesome.

Great service and atmosphere, but my meal was not enjoyable. Luckily, my friends had no complaints about their food. I ordered the Philly grilled cheese and it was very burnt, and pass on the tropical coleslaw, it was disgusting. Our waitress waswonderful though!
