Mon Cafe - Myrtle Beach

Has something changed? my friend and I sat down and waited for our number to be called and to overhear another customer who asked the busgirl if the property had changed. she said eating was not as good as in past. we have received our order and are quickly agreed. we come 5-6 times a year to the beach and always come here the first night, we here for a fast and easy, delicious meal. it's always been fantastic. Hopefully, this one night was just an anomaly. the Teriyaki chicken seemed a little, and chew. the rice was very good. the zucchini and twirl were 90% tweebel 10% zucchini. there is a lack of zucchini? the garnels were good, but not as it is normal....read more

The service was missing. the paper menus they supply are outdated and the prices are wrong. cash was not very friendly, but all the others had a smile. eating was not very good. the steak was hard and the rice had a funny taste. the scallops were the best part. I'm not back.

You guys are like no one else and the recipe never changes. I also like that they have served their food on a more environmentally friendly way.

One of two places I go for Hibachi. If you're on the south end, go to Mon Cafe. If you're further up in Myrtle Beach, go to Mulan.

Best place to eat by far! Excellent food! They give generous amounts! My only problem is the staff.. They are not friendly and like you in and out of the door.. However the food makes up for it!! Love it!
