Bidra med feedbackHave dined at this restaurant many times however the last three times were a terrible experience. Food quality as low as I have experienced in a long time, friendliness and service was not there and Uber drivers taking priority to in-house guests. Sorry but you have lost me and my friends who also have had a similar experience.
Mediocre food and rubbish service! It’s not worth visiting. There’s about 1/2 a metre gap between dishes on the sushi train and it’s all the same few dishes! I’ve been there before and it’s always the same issues. Not going back!
We were peacefully having a not so tasty meal when a girl came up to us and asked us to please behave ourselves. We asked what she was going on about when she accused us of taking videos of the private areas under the table. She stated it was all on camera!! After asking for the managers contact she said he was on holiday and refused to give them to me as well as their names. 2 young white females with dark hair a bad manners very rude!! Can not believe what we have been accused of so disgusted with it all. She made sure she spoke so loud for the entire restaurant to to stop and look at us. How embarrassing. If the owner can please contact us.
Absolutely appalling. Visited Tao as my friend and I had a craving for the sushi train. Walked into the restaurant which seemed very dark and depressing. Shy waiter led us to a table and removed dirty plates from it and then proceeded to wipe the table down with a dirty dish rag (no sanitiser or anything) this left the table wet and sticky. Got given menus but noticed that the sushi train was very bare there were lots of photos of the food that wasn’t there circulating on the train. When the shy waiter was asked if this was being replenished he said the restaurant had been busy that he didn’t know of it would be replenished. I understand given the time was 2pm that maybe the restaurant had just finished lunch service but even if the food wasn’t being replenished it would have been nice to have been told this at the front door before we sat down to eat. We decided to order sushi to takeaway I was standing at the cash register waiting to place my order and the waitress looked at me and then turned and walked away to carry in with what she was doing. I grabbed her attention and as I began to place my order she told me that the sushi chef was on lunch break so she didn’t know if there would be anymore sushi for the day. That was the final straw walked out the restaurant with not even an apology and will definately not be costing there again anytime soon.
I was there last month, all good, first time to Melville outlet. The service was good although a little slow due to low number of staff, but they worked hard and I respect them. Food was average, not too bad and price is good. Plenty of parking space out there, you can even get your dessert after dinner at Maccas, Baskin Robbins and Dominos no problem just walk there. If you are having one of those not too sure what to have for dinner day, this is the place you should visit! They have sushi train, Vietnamese and other asian cuisines for you to choose on their menu.
