Agriturismo Monticelli - MUSSOMELI

Love this place it’s literally my home from home, always love the views, recommend this place, family friendly good location.

Lovely pool, but let down by the restaurant service. We weren’t staying as residents, just stopped by to use the pool and have lunch. We found our own table, 15 mins later the waiter appeared and took our order. 30 mins later the starter arrived, it was good but far too long to wait. We left before our main course turned up as we’d waited another 30 mins. It was the busiest weekend of the summer in Mussomeli, yet there was only one person working the restaurant floor. Understaffed, yet apparently there’s no work in the town. Over an hour and a quarter before the main course was ready? Way too long and no sincere apology. Sorry, but we won’t be going back.

At first we were alone, at 7pm, it seemed wierd. But later people started to come, we had a great time, very good food, great pizza and pasta. We also loved lemon sorbet.

In the countryside just outside the village. Very quiet, a good breakfast. Room are clean and the owner is nice and can help you for all. There is also a big pool. It is an ideal place to stay.

Cant seem to find the option as a hotel... Complete and utter dismay as I walked through the door to my room... The rooms are tired and dark and lack character. Just overall a bit pathetic. And not very clean, I kept finding other peoples hairs and there was a dirty mark on my bed sheets. the beds hadn't obviously been cleaned under in a long time. The breakfast included was a rather slim choiced continental breakfast (My gluten free dietary needs were not catered for so had to go out to the shops and get my own). Upon the first breakfast I was also told to eat my cereal out of the coffee cups. My stay was made even more disheartening when I saw the owner kick a dog who had obviously lost its owner as it have a cooler on with an ID tag... to say i was shocked is an understatement. I will not be staying here ever again even if you paid me.
