Qurbani Biryani - Muscat

It was around 11pm and had sudden plan to have some biryani. This was the only restaurant kept open at that time.<br/ <br/ Got 2 chicken biryani, which was the only item left out. The biryani came with egg, Raith, sherva. As there was only bone pieces left out in the biryani, they made sure to leave some chicken 65 on it. May be to satisfy the customer.<br/ <br/ The quantity was great and the taste too.

Poor ambience, Decent service, Good food at Great Prices. This should be the one-liner for this place. This is my second visit here and it sure went well. Started off with shawarmas and chicken lollypop; shawarma wasn't that great as it was too mild to my liking and had a tinch of coconutty flavor to it. Chicken lollypop on the other hand was real good. Sweet, slightly tangy with lots of garlic and this is the way most of you'll prefer, I believe. Sweet corn chicken soup and Chicken biryani were decent, nothing much to rave about. The winner of the dinner goes to Chilly Chicken, my all time favorite. Gone are those days where they used to put the green chillies in the chilly chicken which has now been replaced by capsicum. Phew.... This restaurant however along with a very few restaurants still go with green chillies and now they have me as a loyal customer. The total bill came to 660 INR and this is the best price one can get to dine with some good foods.

I've been getting takeaway's from this place at least once a week ever since it opened. There are times when the biryani here has been mind blowing but at other times has been so so. <br/ <br/ 3 things you've to try Special Chicken Biryani, Al Faham and Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice! Not sure about how veg/Indian food is.<br/ <br/ Would appreciate if they were consistent with their taste but can't ask much at this price!
