Mehfil Indian Cuisine - Murphy

My Indian friend recommended this place as his favorite authentic restaurant. This was my first time eating Indian food, and I must say Mehfil did not disappoint. The waiters were very kind and attentive. My only nitpick would be that the restaurant atmosphere is a little gloomy.

Been here many times to try authentic Indian dishes and love it! The service is kind of slow but the food is very delicious. I like the portions, one entree and a side were enough for two to share.

This was my first time ever trying Indian cuisine! And I have to say it was so delicious???? everything was so full of spice, flavor and mild heat (which I loved) I will definitely be back to try more! Satisfied first customer ???? Thankyou!

Went here for lunch on the weekend. Our first visit was alright. But the second visit after about 1 year, have to say the food was very good. We ordered the Mehfil Biryani which is mix of a happy family style with lamb, chicken, and shrimp. Which we ordered spicy and it was perfect. Their lamb was also good. The service is also great, they do primarily take out. Definately recommend this place if your in Murphy area.

-5 !!!!! the worst Biryani I ever eat in whole of DALLAS. No exaggeration, this is a honest review. I ordered the beef and lamb biryani from DoorDash and the rice was half cooked and the beef Biryani was wet with water : there no flavor to the biryani. Honestly the first time ever I cooked Biryani 12 years back tasted 100 times better than this guys. How did this restaurant even get the good reviews?? Are they genuine?? Did the order ever taste his own food ?? The originals mehfil restaurant in Hyderabad owners would cry if they taste this Biryani., Which actually is no way close to being called Biryani. I would never ever order from here and eat even if they give it for FREEE period. The worst regret of my life for ordering here. DO NOT ORDER HERE .. Save your money , save your money , save your love for Biryani.
