The night I ate in L'Arbalete, it was the only restaurant opened in Murol and so it was pretty busy. But I arrived early and was housed on a beautiful outdoor table. The place looked simple and welcoming. Service was very friendly. I had a truffade that was pretty tasty, but should have been put on a table heater to keep it cold. Nevertheless, with a beautiful beer it was a pleasantly simple dinner.
One of our best meals in France. The fondue was just the best! Excellent cream brulee. Great, friendly service and great atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.
We stopped here after we saw Burger auvergnat on the menu for 15€ with chips and salad. Unfortunately, the hamburgers have proven to be an industrial-type beer with a boiled beefburger, a lonely slice of tomatoes and hardly a sauce and cheese that are chips...thin frozen and the salad was probably the only fresh ingredient on the plate. I was also surprised by the fact that the waiter never asked how we wanted our meat, for the first time I saw it in France for a restaurantburger. The food was not really terrible, but not at all good for the price, this was probably worth 10€ most. The rest of the food can be good, but the dishonest money make burger is enough for me to advise to stay away from this place.
We spent a very good moment on the terrace and the staff is very welcoming and welcoming. The menu is very original and tasty. We tried the french burger with good bread, tasty meet and Saint-Nectaire cheese with truffade! The service was done quickly.
