Auberge de la Plage Lac Chambon Murol

We stumbled over Auberge de la plage in an afternoon during the holiday at Lac Chambon. We booked a table for 4 adults and 4 children to celebrate our friend's birthday next night. Beautiful views, fulsome and tasty local cuisine....but above all we all left with... the outstanding feeling that all employees were really engaged to make sure we had a wonderful evening....what we did. The cook even made a delicious and huge birthday cake as a surprise for the birthday boy on our request. The evening ended with the children who sneak pebbles over the lake, while we enjoyed the sunset and another glass or two; an unforgettable dinner.

We had the pleasure of having a drink in the afternoon. And immediately reserved for dinner. And it was great. Very good dinner (Bavette) and dessert. Crème brûlée, but not only from a refrigerator, but in the vicinity of the table flamed! And a great taste!

After reading the excellent reviews, we spent 3 days to find the place and only successfully after we finally asked another local restorer where he was. The location is located on the beach of Murol of the beautiful lake Chandon. Unfortunately, while the Fayre is okay it... really not just the excellent location, the staff are friendly and the wine we ordered was very nice, but the menu selection is small and there are no appetizers available that the small portions of the main course still smaller and consequently, even for the excellent location, appear a little expensive. It may be good that this place is perfect for lunch on a summer day, but not to deliver full potential when it comes to dinner and that is really a shame because the view over the lake is worthy of so much more.

Bel emplacement, jolie vue. Chambre simple mais propre et avec un équipement neuf. Accueil sympa et souriant. Bel établissement pour qui aime la simplicité et ne recherche pas le luxe. Bon rapport qualité-prix.

Nous avons passé un bon moment mes enfants et ma mère et moi le cadre sympas le personnel très sympas nous avons bien mangé très copieux
