Great service and great food the chocolate/tea/gift shop that's attached is also delicious! We went for breakfast and it was wonderful!

There is a great selection of home-made cakes and the service is good. The location is ideal in the centre of town with an extra outdoor terrace on the first floor. I escpecially liked the Swiss-type Engadine nut cake.
Easter holiday starts. My partner and I had a day trip to Murnau and had coffee and cake in Knönner. I ordered Agnus Bernauer cake and it was just right, well-structured with layers, not very sweet but definitely tasty. No wonder many locals were there....The weather was a bit gloomy when we visited Murnau. My mood turned much better after having a slice of cake and a cup of chocolate in Krönner :
