Pho Viet - Murfreesboro

Finally we don’t have to go to Nashville for excellent Vietnamese food. If you have never tried this cuisine, visit Murfreesboro’s PHO VIET for a flavor favor.

TRY THIS PLACE!! Pho Viet on Rutherford Blvd, across from Publix. Just tried this new place the other day to see. So, THIS must be why they call pho food for the soul. Blown away! Tried the meatball pho as a takeout. The delicate oxtail broth (a HUGE container) was the star of the show I wanted to drink it both with the goodies and without. My mouth is watering remembering the broth. On the side were flavorful, fresh chopped green onions and cilantro, crunchy bean sprouts, and a handful of fresh basil still on the stem, and the sliced meat was delicious and did not overpower the broth. Three generous sides of sauce including hoisin, hot chili (I think; may have been fish sauce) and sriacha. So much was included in my takeout bag that I felt guilty about the low price, but I don't know if I'd want to dine in I don't like the massive tv that faces all of the tables (t at least the sound was off and the captions were on) For less than $10, it was plenty for two people, too. I see a lot of pho in my future as it's right across the street from where I grocery shop and on my way home from work.

My coworkers and I stopped in yesterday for lunch. It was absolutely delicious! We will definitely visit again.
