The staff gave us difficulty and attitude because we asked for cups with lids as we were traveling back to the house with our order after dinner. Here 's how it went: me: can we get 7 single scoops to go and do you have lids? We are traveling back to the house with it. Associate: We don 't have lids for the single cups, only the next size up me: can we just get the next size cup that has a lid? Crickets....., blank stares, and a suggestion from the associate to give us a drink holder for our open container single cups. I get it, there is a cost associated with a larger cup and I am willing to pay it but the willingness to offer us an alternate solution was lackluster and presented with very poor customer service. We couldn 't believe how stumped they were over this. Maybe add a $0.25 cup upcharge button to the POS system so this doesn 't happen in the future? Long story short...we ended up with the kids asking for the ice cream they had to look at on the way back to the car, melted ice cream all over the back of the car, the locals we were visiting will not be back, and it will not be on my list of to do items as it was this time for our next vacation here.

What a disappointment. I'm sorry guys I wanted y'all to be good I really truly did!!!! But the vanilla ice cream had zero flavor! It messed with my mind. I know I was eating ice cream cause it was cold, but there was literally zero flavor! I wish I wouldn't have spent 12$ for the double scoop! I literally fed it to my dog. However, one redeeming factor was....I tried my wife's mint chocolate chip and it was not that bad. Not great but not bad. That's why I gave a 2* Overpriced and underflavored! About all I got.

Ok so.... This... Place... Is... Phenomenal!!! The in house brewed coffee is superior and the home made ice creams are literally the bees knees! Deliciousness on a cone or in a cup... Its all good!!! A yummy experience indeed! Still the best in the south!!!! Every flavors made with love and creativity!

The ice cream was good. But, they charged a .50 dairy free upcharge. So, for customers that can not eat dairy, they have an additional charge? That is ridiculous. Very disappointed in Hattie Jame's.

So tastyyy!!! I love the coffee coconut and peach cobbler flavors! The dairy and gluten free cone and ice cream options are nice to see more of. Definitely worth a visit!
