Captain D's - Murfreesboro

If you want chickens to be delivered faster than the Zaxby on Rutherford, this is your best bet. Not really a fan of fish, but I love Captain D's chicken and Hushpuppies from time to time. I showed up at 8:30, place was quite empty and slow, which is always positive. For a place that ran from a thousand-year-old teenager, I don't think they can say time because they were cleaned 4 hours before closing. The staff was very helpful and friendly and acomended me with extra sauce so thumb up there. Not to mention, my food was on a paper plate. Now I can understand if they were so busy that they had no clean dishes. But this is a Cap'n D's in the same city as a Whataburger, I doubt that they get enough business to stay open. I'm not crazy just confused because this place should be a chic Long John Silvers lol

Great food and service! Food was fresh, fish was hot.

This fish was undercooked and the batter was soft a thick like hush puppies. The fries were old and cold . Just an awful experience. Adding that the manager nor staff offered an apology nor concern for the problem I had.

Stop by July 5th around noon and got the crab, fish shrimp meal wich includes 2 fish hand full of shrimp and a crab cake patty. I got 1 cold fish 3 shrimps super soggy fries and a burned crab cake. No am not going to that website to give details just hire decent employees to fix your severe quality issues.
