Bidra med feedbackVisited on very windy day so chose to eat inside when the parasol got blown down. Genuine Spanish family run bar. Menu del dia was designed to use produce that could form a low cost option. I chose to have a pasta starter and main course. Meatballs in a broth and anchovies were alternatives. Main courses included pasta bolognese and chicken in mushroom sauce with chips. We chose trifle for desserts. Simple, traditional menu del dia. Not fine dining but a nice friendly place with outdoor tables, in the sunshine usually.
Excellent small bar in this sleepy village, with inside and outside seating. Lovely friendly staff, helped us choose our tapas. Really good tapas, we all enjoyed every mouthful. We had five tapas dishes, water and coffees and the bill was only €40. Throughly recommend.
Had a cod and onion tapa, with a mushroom tapa sat outside on a sunny February 14 th, discussing Storm Dennis that was due to dump 5 inches of rain on parts of UK this coming weekend. We felt a little guilty at the temperature we were enjoying. Had a couple of beers and were persuaded to have main courses of chicken and chips totally unremarkable, instantly forgettable), and macaroni in the style of bolognese. Not as bad as it could have been actually. The star of the event was the hot sunshine, the blue sky and being sat outside. Oh! We did remind ourselves of what the UK was suffering, and ordered a second beer each!
Precios buenos.
