I am sad to give this two stars because I will say that, even on a winter evening, the ambiance was really nice. They have live music on Thursdays and it...
Good Greek food, with excellent service from our friendly and capable waiter, Domitri. I enjoyed grilled fish, while others had gyros, mousaka, and turkey...
On recommendation, I was in Taverne Parea yesterday with two friends. How often, as one of the locals you know about the passage, thinks you should go in, but then don't do it. We met there for a short time of 22 h due to previous data. I just wanted a drink. We are then full of stomach and happy about just before half. We were practically turned out, but it was so cozy and rustic and tasty, we would probably have stayed longer if the place actually did not close by 24 hours. The price-performance ratio is absolutely consistent for Schwabing (the place is almost in Munich's freedom) that you are almost wondering why it is so favorable: for example the bottle of water (0.75 l) for 4,50 EUR, the bottle of Malamatina 6,50 EUR and for example the half beer 3,10 EUR. In addition to wine and water, we had served a Tsatziki for starters with the usual white bread. Bread stocks also arrived at no extra charge and without request. Then we had Bifteki (13,50 EUR), which was very tasty, very, very cheesey and served with potatoes, a good amount of Tsatsiki and a side salad. In addition, there was a warm appetizer plate (9,50 EUR), which was also tastefully great and from which you get really tired. The third main dish was a vegetarian food, (price also about 10 EUR) eggplant slices grilled with tomatoes and feta, served in a tone pot and baked with cheese. We were all excited about it. There was an ouzo later on, but this is now compulsory for almost all Greek restaurants. The service was friendly, fast, polite and sympathetic, but not intrusive. Fortunately, there are live music every Thursday we didn't know. The music was beautiful, not too loud and adapted to the beautiful Tavern ambience and offered a holiday day. The restaurant is cozy furnished, many niches, sometimes go two steps to a table group, the bar in the middle of the restaurant looks cozy and also welcoming to sit on it. Only 4 stars because there is still some air, for example the toilets in the 1st. OG are, and both the stairs and the stairwell need renovation. Otherwise everything was clean and not cuddly. It should also be mentioned that a pension is still attached to the premises. More on the website. In summer there is also a guest garden in the courtyard, which we will certainly try when the weather is loading. Efaristo for this beautiful, spontaneous evening!
