The best Mongolian beef that I had since leaving the southern loop and its Chinese spots. But that was honestly the best better than everywhere. Everything boiled and prepared properly first place to stay onions only and a beautiful mix of textures and kick.
New China Chef is one of the most delicious Chinese food places we have tried. What is great is that I think they use a lot of fresh vegetables (i.e. not frozen) which adds the perfect texture of their food. When they are fresh, their potstickers are the best. The staff there is very friendly and will recognize me as a common customer.
Good, fast, cheap. That's pretty close to this place. As other reviews have found, it is quite standard Chinese food. Normally, I would give it an average rating of 3 stars. However, prices are cheaper than other Chinese places and the shares are larger. The first time I ordered lunch there I could not believe how much food they gave me and how the carrying bag was heavier than usual. I thought it was a mistake or because I was a customer for the first time. But no, this is just normal for them and for this reason I gave them an additional star.
The food is delicious and cheap. The owners are the sweetest people! I have been eating New China Chef once a week for the last few years and I was always happy. Your soft noodle Chicken Low My is so good! And we love her Mongolian beef and beef and broccoli. The best part is if you spend more than $25 they throw into a free little Sweet And Sour Chicken! But you must mention it
Totally biased review based solely on their beef fried rice and egg rolls. They have an XL BFR too which is basically a bucket of the best BFR I've had. Huge menu, but I haven't gotten past the rice.
