Weirs Bar And Restaurant - Multyfarnham

We went to Weirs on St Patrick's Day with a large group. The food was fantastic!! There was not one person in our party of 10 who was not thrilled with their meal. The food was piping hot and cooked to perfection. As stuffed as we were from our meals, the desserts sounded so good we had to try them all. They did not disappoint and there was nothing left to take home. As wonderful as the food was the service was exceptional as well. If you ever find yourself in this neighborhood I can not recommend this restaurant enough. You will not be disappointed.

We tried family lunch at Weirs with our 6,4 and 2 year olds last Sunday with much trepidation. Many such attempts at other venues have ended this year with toddler tantrums and one or other of us parents having to exit stage left mid-Meal with children. However we had a brilliant lunch at Weirs.. the staff were amazing each and every one; our table was ready on arrival just as promised.. spacious and set and very welcoming. Every morsel was delicious and they even had coloring books for the kids. The kids food was fresh and the batter light. Kids bolognese tasted as good as my home-made version. The kids menu was a welcome change in quality from the cremated goujons you get up and down the country that makes you feel like a totally inadequate parent for filling them with junk. Jelly and ice cream only 1.50 per child .. big jugs of cordial only 1.50.. adult mains were delicious I’d recommend the chicken fillets.. just divine. Lunch for five with a mix of starters and mains all just over 50 Euro and nobody crying to boot. Hallelujah! We’ll be back . Thanks guys!

Stopped off here yesterday on the way back from a weekend in Rosses Point. Beautiful place and food is 10/10. Lovely staff who even offered to bring our table across the road to be in the sun!
