Bidra med feedbackTrue japanese cuisine, although the dishes (not Sushi) were all too sweet and sugary. Price quite expensive for what's offered
Unfortunately Tokami has gone downhill. There are now much better places in Munich for sushi. Tokami’s prices have skyrocketed just as the quality has nose dived. Slow service is another poor development. No one likes being rushed for dinner, but here the waiting was looonnngggg even though the restaurant was by no means full.
Our dinner was a lovely experience and the Hotei menu was exceptional from course to course. This is fine Japanese cuisine. Cash only, so bring enough. But, dinner, service and ambiance are worth it. ありがとうございました, Tokami!
We went in for lunch, at were seated right away. I did find the service a bit cold and indifferent to patrons, but that seems to be a standard in Bavaria. We did have a sushi plate for two along with some drinks. Now, the food was great. The fish quality was unbelievable and one I must say that its one of the best sushi I had, but it is also expensive. A Sushi plate for two costs around €55, with drinks, it came to about €65. So be prepared to pay much more than in other sushi restaurants, but I feel it was worth the cost. Just don't be surprised by the bill at the end. But if you can justify the cost, you will have a great time :)
I was there on a Friday evening after an exhausting working day.The place is not especially beautiful but the service and food do more than compensate that.If you like japanese food it is a place to go.The wine list could get much better but this is a common problem of Asian restaurants
