McDonald`s - München

I ventured here in hopes to pick up a familiar breakfast and coffee. I arrived just after 10:00am. Not sure if this location doesn't serve breakfast or if I just missed it. However, the lunch menu was in full swing and some of the offerings looked quite delicious. Anyway, I ordered an iced coffee and sat at the restaurant to consume it. The coffee was nicht so gut. Just before I left, I ordered the chicken sandwich and fries... don't judge me for a large lunch at 10:30. I don't regret it because it was fantastic!! Although the fries looked the same as in the US, their taste was quite different... not better or worse, just different. I hadn't planned to eat anything from the Golden Arches on my European vacation, but this sandwich was a welcomed break from my rule to eat local cuisine. And in my opinion, it IS local because the flavors are much different than in the US. Try it!! I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

I was excited to try McDonald's food in Germany! I got my food and it was great! Unfortunately, I felt unwelcome. As in, the kiosk to order stopped working, most of them stopped working, so when I went up to the counter to communicate the issue, the woman yelled at me and shooed me away. A man in the lobby started to work on the kiosk because I wasn't the only customer having the issue. It took me a whole 30 minutes to order food and 15 minutes of the same woman obviously ignoring me as I stood at the counter waiting to purchase my food. Yes, I realize I would have to wait for my food, but the whole interaction felt uncomfortable and rude on her end, and I could of sat down with my friend to chat while I waited...but I stood at that counter and it was the longest 15 minutes of discomfort. Not to mention the guy watching me eat my food.

Good food, good service, and good cleaning. Very clean and modern interior. The service was great, and the employees were very helpful. The food at this McDonald's was the best McDonald's food I've had so far in Europe. All around great McDonald's.

Only if you don't have time for real eating and you're almost starving. what should I say the same thing almost everywhere. not compare with real restaurants, but sometimes their last choice.
