Bidra med feedbackResonably well-priced, fast service and delicious. A place that does real mexican food in Munich! Love the Burrito.
The best Mexican food in Munich, always fresh and tasty. Good prices, fast service, great design. Happy to be there again
I have to preface this review by saying I lived in Mexico and have been extremely underwhelmed by the Mexican food in Germany. It's almost to the point where I don't try any more because I am afraid of being disappointed because I really love authentic Mexican food so I admit I'm picky. So here goes: there are two Taquerias, one here in Olympiaeinkaufzentrum and one at Isartor. However, for Germany, and Munich, the burritos here are pretty good (burritos are Tex-Mex), and the selection of meats they have is good. I love the cochinita pibil and the Pollo Wahaca is pretty tasty, but I must say, this is not really Mexican although they certainly try. They don't give you any cilantro for your tacos, but at least have soft corn tortilla, but without salsa and only pico de gallo (this seems typical in Germany and I don't get it). I asked for cilantro but they won't do it. Everyone who works there is super nice, I have to say, and the Germans seem to love it. They have a couple weird things I have never seen before, like chili-kraut, but their salsa verde is pretty decent although I would not recommend the enchiladas. The staff is super nice, however, and quite friendly and helpful. For Germany, it's pretty decent. If you have a burrito craving, it's pretty good. I prefer the other location down by Isartor, that one is a bit better in my opinion.. Overall, the main thing this place is missing is Mexicans.. if they just hired one guy to change a couple things, it could be incredible because they really have the right idea, but have to stop Germanizing the food :)
La Taquería at MONA offers a wide variety of Mexican dishes ranging from Burritos, Quesadillas, Tortas and even Enchiladas. They have a nice variety of typical Mexican drinks such as Aguas frescas (Sandía, Limón y Menta, Tamarindo, Horchata, Jamaica, etc..), cocktails and beers.
