Bidra med feedbackThe new owners of done a nice job of fixing the place up. The food was good the service was great. We enjoyed our mimosas.
The food and service is always good here. It's inexpensive compared to the other places around. Coffee $2 with meal. The food is always fresh and hot and tasty. If you like soup, it is really good here. I always get the soup. Pancakes come plain or with fruit cooked in, very good. Benedicts, very good. My goto spot.
We have been here a few times since they reopened. The new owner has made great changes and the food and service have been great. Prices are reasonable, mimosas are good and food is great. Hopefully they will change their opening time a little earlier so we can go on the way to work. We had the split pea soup on our last visit and it was excellent. A nice cozy diner that is quiet and friendly. Parking: Wide open gravel lot Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and friendly staff
I thought we had found our favorite breakfast spot, and the first few visits were great. Love the new owners and their story. Until today: we ordered our food (the owner took our order), and about 10 minutes later the chef (not the owner) came to our table and started berating us about the fact that they do not have black beans and cannot accommodate our order. He was super upset with us, out of the blue, just totally flipped out on us about the black beans. I'd think that since the owner was our waitress and she didn't have a problem with our request of adding black beans to the omelette that the chef would have no reason to be angry with us. Well. We were asked to not come back (by the chef), so we won't. Super sad. Seems like they were all having a bad day, but why take it out on the patrons?
So glad for new management. Great place. Great food.
