The Counter Mountain View Priority Seating

While they were short occupied today, al our server was very attentive and friendly. the food was good as always, but the sweet potatoes and the shoe-running were particularly delicious. cold day, but with heating outside was very nice. we're coming back.

Everything went as expected. great place for a burger!

1). Your counter relish is nothing more than ketchup mixed w/some pickles—pls add real relish; e.g., red pepper relish or pickle relish) to your menu. Also, charging extra for a tablespoon of it (which is about the amt. in the small plastic container that comes w/takeout) is pretty tacky! 2). The grilled fresh pineapple you offer as a topping is always unripe, hard, and not very tasty —canned pineapple (at least until you get them really ripe and sweet) is far tastier (always sweet and when grilled never hard). 3). Otherwise , your burgers are always spot on (and fries too)!

Just what we expected from The Counter: a lively atmosphere with excellent ethically sourced burgers and fresh ingredients and nice drinks at reasonable prices.

Good, service and ambiance was wonderful! Will go back again!
