Ramen Izakaya Yu-gen - Mountain View

Ramon Izakaya Yu-Gen, this place was excellent. First customer. I ordered the Geso Karaage (lightly roasted squid) for the appetizer and the Tonkotsu Deluxe Ramen. The DX Ramen included the chashu (simmered disc pork) and the kakuni (long cooked pig bells). Both the appetizer and the main dish were extremely tasteful and delicious. There was only one main item for vegetarians, but it was pretty good. We went for medium and spicy levels and it went well with the soup base. The service was great. Come back here. They supplement a service fee of 16 percent on the invoice. PS: You have these sweet cups with webs in them for easy keeping a hot drink. Do you wonder where they come from?

We came here on Saturday and waited not long, only 10 minutes. ramen and chashu tasted good. Moreover, they would inform that they charge the service fee 16% before billing, which is much better than orenchi. the street is also a good place to walk around.

Family decided to try this ramon site from the reviews. we were in many riddle places in ca and a few in nyc and bos. tonkotsu medium spicy broth (special bowl) was delicious, not too creamy or salty, and the noodles were just right. gizo w/sauce and squid legs/Tentacles were good. our chicken catarage seemed to be understated, but mgr said it was her boiled style and fully boiled. he corrects the problem. service was excellent and attentive from our server, luis s. we would return here.

This place mainly serves ramen and curry. The ramen was really good, soup is juicy. The curry is also good, but just the portion of meat is relatively small. Also now they add up 16% service to the check directly.
