Cavanaughs Grille - Mountain Top

After three days before the time reservations were made and 2 hours especially drive to dinner, was said the tables were full, still noticed a kept sign on the table next to us. So maybe choose and choose for whom they actually save tables? said no manager before place to talk with, but finally a very helpful waitress cleaned a table for us. the cavanaugh data medium well ordered and after about an hour wait, the steak was the worst steak I ever had, filet or otherwise. so dry and over boiled it was unusable. the clams were also very dry. all in all we enjoyed our experience as we intended to travel, but were disappointed by the food and in fact that reservations are recommended to be clearly only honored as the personal looks fit. music was good in this night, but that helped the experience. kudos to the band that was there last Friday and the waitress that was so courteous. Steak was not boiled as we requested....Mosts of huhn marsala were raw....sold servers...switched steak to cook longer...you accommodation were offered for bad quality of food. our server was great

We wanted to be seated outside away from the bar and then we were told that there was only one waitress...after reading a sign that said seat yourself! Then led to an outdoor table where the sun was beating down on my husband which made him irritated. My husband ordered ribs and brisket, both were horrible and comparable to cutting into leather. I ordered the Ahi tuna it was flavored well but overcooked and was told they didn 't have any wasabi dressing that it was supposed to be served with. My son ordered a pulled pork sandwich...he pretended to like it. Won 't be going back unfortunately!

Chicken in my salad was way over cooked. Others at our table said the same thing about the chicken whether it was in the quesadilla or a just a chicken sandwich. Other than this our visit was good. Need to work on their quality.

First time here, waitress told us there was only outdoor seating, not sure is that meant never or just that day, we sat outside which was very nice but we didn't have a choice. The online menu is not the same menu we were given at the establishment, alot was missing. Spinach and artichoke dip was very good. Main course's were not so great. My glass had chunks of food on the inside.
