I had a typical experience at Subway, and the staff was friendly enough, but there's definitely room for improvement! With 7% of Subways closing during the pandemic, maintaining a clean and trash-free environment is crucial for staying in business. The store should be spotless both inside and out. While I understand that the toaster oven is out of order, there’s no excuse for running out of peppercorns. And team members, please don’t suggest that I just use a packet of ground pepper! It’s essential to have a backup plan for both supplies and equipment malfunctions. Let's aim for better!
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the behavior of a young woman at the register. When I inquired about the dressing options, she responded very curtly. Later, when we asked for water glasses, she snapped at us, saying, "I was just getting them," despite the fact that she had already walked away. She then aggressively placed the glasses on the counter. I didn't catch her name, but I was taken aback by her attitude and decided to leave the restaurant right away. This incident happened around 6:15 PM and, unfortunately, I've encountered rude staff here on previous visits over the past three years. I was hoping for a better experience since I had received a gift card, but this situation was disheartening. I feel compelled to share this feedback, as I'd imagine the owner would want to know about it. We need more positive dining options in our community. 9/15/21
If you have time to lean, you have time to clean. The high chairs were very unclean. I sanitized the one I used for my son, and the wipes came away dirty. The other high chair had dried food on it. Additionally, the young woman at the register was on her phone.
