Stoney's - Mountain Home

Fast service, friendly staff, great food! I stopped in here before checking out the Farmers Market at Caboose/Railroad Park (across the street). I was traveling through with my pup and didn't want to leave him alone they were kind enough to let mebring him in. However, he also knows how to behave in public places so that was an important factor. There were so many optionson the menu, and breakfast was served all day thankfully. The pancakes were just like the ones my grandmother used to make, andeggs/bacon were exactly how I requested. The atmosphere is quiet for the most part and family friendly! Loved it!!

Some friends said it was a good restaurant, it was anything but. First walked in, the waitress that eventually helped us was on the phone. Waved at us like we were farther away than standing on the other side of the counter. When seated, the waitressseemed impatient and in a hurry. When our food arrived, I was expecting a Grilled Chicken Caesar salad with the Chicken at leastwarm. It was completely cold. Like the entire dish was just taken out of the refrigerator. Chicken was definitely frozen beforeit was cooked, whenever that was, and then chilled again. My wife's, and daughters' dish's serving size was pitiful for theprices we paid. From all the dishes involved in the servings, the restaurant seemed to want to be a First-Class Michelin Starrestaurant. It certainly is not. While I gave it a chance in the beginning, I was not impressed.

Stopped in while passing through town, the atmosphere was very nice open, clean, and friendly and affordable. I ordered the soup of the day which was potato, and the fish and chips basket ????. My food arrived within 8 Minutes of ordering and was verydelicious and filling. My only critique is I wish they included a few more pieces of fish with the order but that?s reallynothing to gripe about :

Great place to eat. Friendly service. Quick seating and service. We bought breakfast for lunch. All menu items served all day long including breakfast. Food was perfectly cooked, not heavy or greasy. Stated great! Will go again. Only negative thing, isthere are no substitutions. Other than that, 100% recommend. The front doors are wide open like a garage so great indoor outdoorfeel. The drink options are great. You can add flavors to tea, lemonade, soda...whatever you want with unlimited refills.Service are quick to refill without having to ask! Super bonus there!

Had a Burger n onion rings n hubby had burger n fries, best meal on our road trip! Would recommend eating there anytime! Service was fast n friendly n on a road trip the most important besides food is that the bathrooms were clean!
