Red Rooster - Mount Waverley

RR Chicken is not as good as it used to be years ago. I recently had a meal there and it was disappointing - the gravy was too salty. The women's toilet was closed and the men's toilet was dirty with used tissues on the floor. I will avoid this place in the future and go to Hungry Jack's across the road instead. It's no surprise that there isn't a lunchtime crowd during the week. If there was a peri peri chicken chain nearby, RR Chicken would struggle to stay in business.

We live near this restaurant, so when we don't have time to cook, we go to our Red Rooster. The chicken here is always juicy and tender, making it the best fast food option. We usually order the Amaze Glaze family meal or the Mega Feast. Sometimes we opt for the original crispy burgers or wrap combo. There is plenty of seating available as most customers choose to take their food to go.

I ordered the chicken roll with gravy and chips combo, and they always put too much gravy on it. However, everything was good overall, so I still dipped my chips in it.
