Bidra med feedbackI rarely go to Melini's as I am not a fan of their food and primarily the sauce they use for many of their dishes. The good The service was good, although the server struggled with English at times. My wife's salad was huge and she liked it. They keep the drinks filled and fresh bread on the table. Now for the less than good my lasagna was poor so poor that I would say that I have never had a worse lasagna. It had absolutely no cheese whatsoever other than a slice of mozerella melted on top. No ricotta, just layers of pasta and ground meat all topped with Meilini's sauce. Fazoli's lasagna is immensely better than Melini's in every facet. The fried cheesesticks were served with a layer of the sauce on top of them, making the coating a soggy mess definitely not what I expected, but they tasted ok. I generally support our local restaurants, but to be honest I rarely go to Melini's because I just think their product is less that satisfactory overall. The price is reasonable, but there are many better alternatives, even in a small town like Mt. Sterling.
It has been at least 3 years since we had been here. I had the flank steak, a salad and mushrooms. The steak was so good, tasty and tender and both sides were fresh and delicious. My husband and son were very satisfied with their meals also. Great, attentive and friendly service from our server, Garrison. We will definitely try to visit more often!
Favorite restaurant in Mount Sterling! I love their baked ziti, my friend love their fettuccine Alfredo. We come back often and they let us chat until they close. Highly recommend!
My daughter and I come here at least once every couple of months as our mother/daughter day. Its our favorite place. The food is so good and authentic...but let me just say...the chef salad is to die for with oil and balsamic vinegar. Must try!
Heads up menu prices aren’t the same as what’s in the computer. You will be overcharged at least $1.00 per meal. I mentioned it, and they said it was their system!! Our meals were $9.99 they charged us$10.99, pizza slice was 5.25 on menu, ticket was 5.99.Food was ok, but we were never asked if we wanted refills, just bought out to go boxes , we didn’t ask for, like they were trying to rush us out of the restaurant. Don’t think I’ll be back?
