Pennyroyal Station - Mount Rainier

This is one of my new favorite southern style restaurant in the DC area. The best part of this station is its setting a plenty of outdoor space and very colorful drawings on its building. My favorite dish was their chicken wings they were simple but they can be treated as meals instead of bar snacks.

Quaint new spot in Mt. Rainier, MD right at the DC line. Beautiful mid-century vibe. Good food and drink options. However, quite pricey. We'll go back for happy hour and apps for sure.

[Update: I came back for dinner, my friends and family absolutely loved it. Everything was absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere, great food and amazing service from Lilly. Found a new gem in Mount Rainer.

Visited on a Tuesday early evening for the first time and was very happy with our experience. Service was great and so were the drinks. I had a Green Goddess (highly recommended and we had a fried fish Sammy. The fried chicken did NOT disappoint! Street view of the DC line as well. My fiancé and I went here early today (after reading multiple reviews so we knew what we were in for ???? . The food was great! From temperature, to taste, to portion size, we both enjoyed our meal a lot! And, the service we got was nice too.
