The Gingko Tree Inn - Mount Pleasant

Wow! From the moment we went to the Ginkgo Tree Inn, we felt like home. The host was so friendly and immediately offered to update our room at no extra cost to two adults and a two-year-old in a king-size bed instead of the queen we originally booked. The gardens are beautiful and there are many places to explore and relax the farm, including a large veranda. We spent the evening in the park, literally in the backyard of the inn. It has brand new playground equipment and it was perfect to let our son burn energy after a five-hour drive. When we arrived at the inn, the host enjoyed a nice evening on the veranda and watched her daughter in the yard. Our bed was so cozy that our son, who usually woke up with the sun, slept in and was not ready to stand up. The first course of breakfast was waiting for us when we got into the bistro vanilla yogurt with granola, fresh fruit and some delicious sweet breads. The second course was a frittata, sweet potatoes and bacon. The whole food was so delicious and stuffed. But even better than the food was the host that was so connected to our son after he finished his breakfast and we continued to eat. She heard his stories, read a magazine with him and even danced with him. He was so comfortable around her that he smuggled to her as she read. I think we all would have been happy to talk and play all day. The Ginkgo Tree Inn was a perfect stop to break an eight-hour drive from Dayton, Ohio to Mackinac Island, Michigan. We will definitely keep an eye on our future Michigan trips!

It was always on my list to stay here as I was in Central and not disappointed. The place is beautiful and a simple walk from all center. And the breakfast was amazing. Anyway, stay here again.

We had the pleasure of a delightful stay at the charming Gingko Tree Inn last weekend. The new owners and staff were especially accommodating to make us so welcome. Breakfast was amazing, room was comfortable, great location-all in all, would highly recommend! Thank you, Alanna
