Bidra med feedbackDecided to go here based on a coupon savings. A great maître d' showed us to our seat. We requested to be in the bar area. It was very cozy and clean. Our waiter was very nice. Young and full of energy. He was very helpful and attentive. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza to see what they offered. At $14 we assumed it to be at least a 13 inch pizza. This came out of the kitchen no more than eight inches. Small, but full of flavor. The entire pizza was gone in no time. It was delicious. But oh so small. The cocktails were only $5 for a nice scotch. A decent pour of a red blend was $8. For a chain, I thought their prices were too high. But, our server was great and the food very tasty.
Ok so this place has great service and the food is ok. I have to say that it is not very easy to find off the main road. They have great parking, however every time I go in there the place is not busy at all. The food is always hot and you get treated really well. Stop by and help support them.
Came to eat this evening after a hard day of painting. Carey was our server and she was absolutely delightful, to say the least! Pilot Rosa Maria is amazing, as always!! I worked at Carrabba's years ago and the food is still fabulous! I'm not biased or anything, I swear!
We started with the Mussels in white wine butter sauce. The Mussels seemed fresh, but it was just a little too much garlic for me. I ordered a Pomegranate Martini that had little to no pomegranate flavor and also very little alcohol. It was mostly grapefruit and orange juice. The bread, served as an appetizer, seemed microwaved. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccini Alfredo. The chicken was ok. The noodles were a clumpy mess that stuck together, and were clearly not freshly made. For a premium side choice, the quality was just not there. I ordered the Pollo Rosa Maria which was wood-grilled chicken stuffed with fontina cheese and prosciutto and topped with mushrooms and lemon butter sauce. The prosciutto did not even made it onto the plate, but was supposed to be stuffed into the chicken with the cheese. The chicken was tender, but the presentation was unappetizing, and the sauce was very thin and watery. The side of Penne pasta with Pomodoro (tomato) sauce was too light and lacking in presentation. My son choose the Wood-Fired Pizza and had trouble eating it. I tried it, as well, and the bottom was burnt. I typically like a very well-done crunchy crust, but the char rendered the pizza inedible. Bottom line: when the pasta clumps together, it 's too old to serve! The quality did not match the prices.
Haven't visited Carrabba's in a long time. First visit at this location. Went in , no wait, place was near empty. Ordered calamari as an appetizer. Came out looking whiteish which is normally a golden brown color. It was ok, probably could've cooked it a little while longer. Seasoned ok as well. My main dish was the salmon stuffed with crabmeat and mashed potatoes. The salmon was pretty good. Real lump crab meat was used for the topping . Overall happy with the meal. One thing I like to do is compare what I would've gotten elsewhere based on the amount of money spent and I would've selected something else. But if you like Italian food, there isn't too many options in Mount Pleasant and this will do the job.
