Bidra med feedbackAn excellent culinary experience in Mt Pleasant. Well-run operation, quality management and precise staff. Creative cocktail menu, high quality ingredients. Meat seems here. Ageed, smoked. Impressive. Let's go.
Went there for a friend wedding dinner / reception and it was absolutely amazing!!! The food was so good, a great variety and there was so much of it. Scallops should die! The hosts and waiting staff were very professional and friendly. Will definitely go back to check it out for dinner!
Five stars in not enough to show how happy we work with our experience with Butcher Boar to plan our wedding reception. Due to the COVID we had to significantly reduce our wedding and reception. We went from 100 guests to 18 of our local friends. Courtney is an absolute dream to work with!! There was no stress or guess. She was helpful to respond quickly and attention to all tiny details. Maybe especially the FOOD is AMAZING! It will be hard for our Catererer to adapt this level of the kitchen if we have our reception with the full guest list next year. We booked the Boar Room and it was absolutely perfect. It is private, spacious and has its own bar and bathroom. Although it wasn't what we originally planned, it was a perfect day. HIGHLY recommend!
GREEN Experience! Fine food, top of the line unique and refreshing drinks, and Wonderful service. Our food was exquisitely prepared, it was beautiful and tasteful. From fried green tomatoes, sourcing sampler to wood fire Oysters, everything was prepared, seasoned and shed for perfection. My middle well mignon was from this world! Every bite was a joy and these little potatoes (fingerlings) were Magnifique! Our server was Toussaint and he didn't disappoint. A gentleman and a real professional. He never skipped a beat!!! All employees wore masks and latex gloves while maintaining their social distance. The butcher
The lighting is perfect and the seating was just as great. We started outside having drinks before moving inside for our main courses. The food was fantastic! The staff was knowledgeable and prompt. We had 10 courses and everything tasted as if it was made for a king. The Steak Tartare was one of my favorites. The Red Hot Brussel Sprouts were a new twist on my taste buds. Full of flavor. (I recommend these for any one that hasn’t liked Brussels Sprouts in the past. The Beef Hot Link was a foot long masterpiece. If I was by myself, I would have ordered two! The star of the show was definitely the Beef Long Rib. The meat was so tender I was able to cut it with a sharp glance. The flavors that were bursting out of this dish, is something you can only find with a seasoned chef. We washed down our meal with the house made Sangria and went home happy. We not only would recommend this place but have already! If in town visiting or a local looking for some of the best food in the low-country, Butcher and the Boar is the place to be!!! Thanks to everyone for the awesome experience!!!!
