Ya Salam Cafe and Restaurant

We had a fantastic lunch at Ya Salam. The lunch menu was more limited than expected, but with some guidance from the friendly staff, we ordered delicious meals for everyone. My picky 4-year-old loved the fried chicken with rice, while my 6-year-old enjoyed the sweet chili chicken with rice. My curry laksa was perfect, and the roti chanai was phenomenal, especially when we ordered it sweet with honey, sugar, and condensed milk. I am already looking forward to dining here again on our next trip to Australia.

The restaurant offers generous portions at an affordable price. The food is delicious, with our favorite being the shish tawook (char-grilled chicken with spices) and the rice. The sautéed lamb cubes (suqar) are also tasty, especially when paired with jabaati. The lamb shanks are another standout dish. We have visited this restaurant multiple times and will continue to do so in the future.

The food at this restaurant is delicious. The portions are large and affordable. We particularly enjoy the flavorful rice dishes. Our favorite menu items are the Shish Tawouk with rice and the Lamb Shank with rice. Another dish worth trying is the Suqar with Jabaati. We have visited this restaurant many times and always leave satisfied.
