Railway Hotel - Mount Alexander

The atmosphere is fantastic, it makes you feel like you're in an old miners' bar. The pub food is excellent, with friendly service and good options for children. The fast meal turnaround was also a plus.

We are here on the basis of the assessments. It was okay. we had standard powder meal times (Calamari/Carbonara/Fish and chips) although the special board looked pretty well, although nothing was labeled as gluten-free. in my opinion it was quite average, and the staff did not jump out of the skin to be excessively helpful.

What a wonderful place the railway hotel is. typical country pub with great food and friendly staff. our meal was full of taste and a very generous portion. recommend them either for lunch or dinner

Really enjoyed the calamari and my partner had the huhn schnitzel. so tasteful and the dessert cheese cake with strawberry cream was for to die. we have eaten twice, because eating the service atmosphere was so good!

My wife and I really enjoy a good Aussie country pub meal, especially when it feels more English and less bogan. This pub had the right balance.it felt like and English pub in country Victoria. It had a nice range of Lagers and Ales plus...a good local wine list. The food was tasty and well cooked. A perfect night in a perfect country pub.
